Sr. Sales Engineer - Pyungtek, Gyeonggi-do
State the primary function or overall purpose of
your position.
- Direct and execute the sales activities required for Korean
customers from pre-stage of sales promotion till beyond of SOP of
customers
- Direct interface with customers for Eaton FEPC system for all
issue for sales commercial and all technical issue.
List the essential functions (i.e. key responsibilities with expected
end results) which must be accomplished in order to fulfill the purpose
of your position as described above.
A. Play a role as company's window for Korean customer’s issues.
- Business contract, New launch product, Product
pricing/negotiation), Quality issues, Engineering issues, and Delivery
issues.
- Contact Korean customers to get customer’s voice and solve
customer-related issues.
- Build close relationship with Korean customers.
- Manage and coordinate customer’s P.O.(Purchasing Order) and
product shipments.
- Search business opportunities and create new business in Korean
market.
- Review and set up the product strategy planning and market
research/analysis, including competitors' activities.
- Coordinate and manage new launching programs in timely manner.
- Support internal departments of Eaton related to Korean sales of
FEPC products.
B Manage and coordinate customer’s P.O.(Purchasing Order) and
product shipments.
C Search business opportunities and create new business in Korean
market.
- Review and set up the product strategy planning and market
research/analysis, including competitors' activities
D Acts as liaison between customer and division engineering in planning,
design and development of advanced valve train products.
- Provides on site daily support of customer needs and requests.
- Responds to direct or indirect customer inquiry regarding function
and design and attends all customer meetings.
- Establishes close working relationships within the customer
facility while maintaining focus on Eaton goals and objectives.
E Maintains timely and effective communication with divisional
engineering and sales through avenues such as phone calls, conference
calls, videoconferences, and email.
F Provides presentations to internal and external customers on
programs or product development as required.
G Reviews and reports on significant product developments through
written correspondence.
H. Stays abreast of divisional design and testing capabilities by
participating in yearly update training at the divisional engineering
facility.
I. Responsible for conducting or supporting field failure analysis,
developing recommended corrective actions, and providing necessary
reports.
K. Provides support for product launches and process improvements.
May direct manufacturing through failure analyses and product design
changes.
Qualifications:
- Describe any specialized knowledge or skills (e.g., technical,
scientific, administrative, managerial) used as guidelines for this
position.
- Four-year BSE with around 10 years experience as sales engineer or
engineering in automotive industry
- Some experience working Automotive OEM and Global Tier1/2
suppliers with fluent English speaking
Describe all other aspects of your position that you feel are important

encountered, special freedom to take action, critical outside contacts,
exceptional working conditions etc.)
- It is the responsibility of sales engineer to maintain and convey a
professional image of Eaton Corporation in front of the customer. The
sale engineer has daily contact with the customer and their actions are
perceived as those of the company and not the individual.
