EFFECTIVE January 1, 207, a new premium contribution schedule will be implemented for the employed sector,
to ensure that it is progressive and equitable. Below is the new contribution schedule per PhilHealth  Circular No. 1, s-2005:

Deadline of payment for the public and private sectors is on or before the 10th calender day of the month following the applicable month. Payment shoud be made at any PhilHealth office or through accredited collecting agent and their branches nationwide. Employers must also be enjoined to submit the Quarterly Remittance Report(FR-1) on or before the 15th day of the month following the applicable quarter. In line with Sections 18 and 20 of the implementing Rules and Regulations of RA7875, it is the obligation of the employer to remit the required premium contribution and submit the required remittance list for both the employees and the employer. The employer shall be held liable in case of refusal or failure to fulfill such obligations.
